Wiser C-Bus Home Controller Security Update
Important Security Update for Wiser1/Wiser1.5/Wiser 2/C-Bus Home Controller customers using the Wiser 2 Mobile App (IOS V3.7.3 and Android V4.03.00 or greater), where the unsecured Remote Connection feature (outside your home) from your mobile App will be removed to enhance the protection of the device. The new version of the Mobile App will be available to download from Feb 2024 onwards.

For Wiser 2/C-Bus Home Controller
- Wiser 2 Mobile App (IOS V3.7.3 and Android V4.03.00 or greater) will no longer support the unsecured Remote Connection feature which allows you to connect to your mobile App from outside your home.
- We strongly encourage to update your mobile App for this security update to be implemented
- You will still be able to control your device from within your home.
- If the remote connection feature is important for you, please contact your System Integrator to support you in upgrading the firmware on your device.
- To confirm whether your device needs to be upgraded to the latest firmware, please use your web browser, and type the IP address in your Web browser. The IP address is of your Wiser 2/SpaceLogic C-Bus Home Controller to go to the Login Page
- On the bottom right of the login page as shown above, if the firmware version reported is V1.33.1 (Wiser 2) or V2.01.01(C-Bus Home Controller) or greater, there is no further need to update the device for this security update
- If the firmware version is less than mentioned above or no version information, then you will need to update the firmware of your device to be able to continue using the Remote Connection feature securely.
- It is strongly recommended to always have your device updated to the latest firmware.
