What to do when C-Bus dimmer channel will not turn off ?

First of all check that the programming is correct.
If using LED lights, the LED may stay on when the channel is off, this is due to the leakage current being enough to power the LED, use of a 31LCDA may resolve this issue.
If using Halogen and  the channel will not turn off, there may be damage to the electronics on this channel - Electricians only to perform this check, disconnect the Active's , Neutral and Earth from the unit, remove the cable for the load on that channel then with a multimeter check between the Neutral and that suspect channel output, if you see a low resistance the Triac has shorted.
Advise not to use this channel and label as faulty, other channels on this dimmer should still be ok to use as per normal, alternatively you could return this unit for a quote on repair, note a repair may not be possible.

Any fan which is switched via a 3 wire capacitor (low, medium, common) will be acceptable

Can you have more than one fan controlled from a DLT?

You cannot natively control more than one fan. However implemention of multiple fans can be achieved through the use of logic, please contact Technical Support for a logic example.

Any logic examples are provided as is and are not able to be supported.

What is required for a Fan to be compatible with C-Bus?

For a fan to be compatible with C-Bus, it will require a 3 wire capacitor built for low and medium speeds.

This capacitor can then be wired into a L5501RFCP which will act on behalf of the rotary dial.

From there, a C-Bus switch can then be programmed to step through the speeds.

Depending on the scenario they are being used in, you can have three options based on 1, 2 or 3 button control

1 Button Control:
98% - Shutter Toggle Open/Close

2 Button Control:
1% - Close Toggle/Stop

3 Button Control:

100% - Open
2% - Stop

C-BUS - Can I open/close all shutters but still have individual control?

Yes you can, if you have for example 5 shutter relays all with separate group address for individual control and would like a master switch to open or close all then try the following:

On a device supporting scenes, create a close scene with all of those shutter relay groups set to 0%, under the Trigger Control tab create a Trigger Group with the action selector set to 0.
Now duplicate that scene and set the groups to 100%, under the Trigger Control select the same Trigger Group but now set the Action selector to 255.

On a key input (switch) change to the secondary application and select the Trigger Group with function on/off.

When pressed this will send the 255 to trigger one scene and when pressed off will send the 0 level to trigger the alternate scene.
