Will the 5000MP suit the DLT and eDLT?

 The eDLT wall switch range will come with a plate (5000MP) but will be available seperately for 2nd fix. 5000MP is for the eDLT range. The DLT range is ok with standard wall plates and wall clips (154).

If the meter is being provided a very small current (0.005A/5mA or less) on the secondary side, the meter will read 0 for the phase current.
Since kW is dependent on the current reading this value will also be zero.

To find out what the minimum Primary starting current is you can calculate as follows:
Primary_Min_Current = 0.005 * CT_Ratio
Where CT_Ratio = CT_Primary/CT_Secondary

Example:
CT Ratio = 2000:5 (Primary:Secondary)
Starting Current = 0.005A (Secondary)

CT_Ratio = 2000/5 = 400
Primary_Min_Current > 0.005 * 400 = 2A (primary side load).

 

Is it Possible to Upgrade a 1600A NW16 Breaker to a 2000A NW20 by Changing the Sensor Plug.

No. It is not possible. As per the attached document the NW16 have sensor rating only from 800 - 1600A, So a 2000A Sensor Plug is not suitable for NW16 Breaker. So it can not be changed.

Can I change the input power plug on my 120Vac Smart-UPS?

All Smart-UPS 2000VA or larger have an input plug that is not a standard 5-15 household style plug.

Resolution:
The higher capacity of these UPS models require an input plug that is either 20amp or 30 amp (depending on model) rather than the traditional 15 amp household plug you may be more familiar with. The UL listing of the UPS assumes that the UPS is using the input plug for which it was designed. Modifying the input plug may affect the UL or other regulatory compliance. Schneider Electric does not recommend modifying the input plug of your Smart-UPS UPS or attached Smart-UPS Accesories (IE: Stepdown Transformers, PDU strips, ETC) 

Note: If you decide to go against this recommendation and change the input plug of your UPS, please be aware that the functional capacity of the UPS will be limited by the input circuit.
(I E: An SMT3000 being supplied 15 amps is effectively a 1500VA UPS rather than the 3000VA that it is rated for.)

The Altivar  61 and 71 series drives can be used at full rating up to 1000 meters above sea level. They must then be derated by 1% for every additional 100 meters up to a maximum of 3000 meters above sea level.
Note that the ATV61H***S6X and ATV71H***S6X drives must not be used with corner grounded systems at altitudes above 2000m.

How do I get Modsoft to open up to full screen display while I try to run it under WIN 2000?

The command to get Modsoft to change window size is ALT+<ENTER>; however Modsoft is not supported under WIN 2000. Users may try running the application under it; however successful operation cannot be guaranteed. One of the common problems is Modsoft will not open up to full screen. Regrettably there is no means to resolve this issue other than to reinstall the software under a supported OS, such as WIN 95, WIN 98 or DOS.

Resolution:
To decode a catalog number, access the attached file and find the description corresponding to each character for the breaker catalog number and for the cradle if applicable.
PLS007 is for Masterpact Circuit Breakers.
PLS012 is for Masterpact Cradles.

Note: For Masterpact breakers (eg. WA8AHR31A2SNNNNNNN9N) from late 1990s to very early 2000s, check attached 1999 decoder.

What is the ratio of current transformers in Schneider recloser and sectionaliser?

As standard, inside switchgear tank is installed with 3 CTs for 3 phases current measurement. These CTs are with 2000:1 ratio for N, U, W, RL series. E series is integrated with CT of 1000:1 ratio

 However, the above ratio data is for information only. There is no access to CT circuits for customers to measure the secondary currents or use them for a third party device.

 Note that N series can be optionally installed with another 3 CT on the other side of the switchgear for customer’s use. These are called additional or extra CTs and the ratio can be requested from one of the following options at time of order
800/400/1; 600/300/1; 400/200/1 and 200/100/1

Why is there a limit of 25 devices for ION Enterprise software installed on a Windows XP Professional Operating System?

A user may inquire why is there a limit of only 25 devices for ION Enterprise software installed on Windows XP Prof Operating System.
The reason is as follows:

25 devices for Windows XP is a general recommendation: it is possible that slightly larger systems can be put onto XP without noticeable problems. The reason for this recommendation is that there are limitations in Windows XP (all editions) on the number/kind of connections that it can make, or receive (same in Windows 2000). The more devices that are attempting to communicate to an XP system may result in unpredictable connection loss, or strange behaviour within software that maintains connection information to the meters (like the ION Network Router).

Server-class operating systems don't have these limitations, and are much better at managing large numbers of connections.

Our Software Department has documented cases where problematic systems running on Windows XP were fixed by upgrading to Windows 2003.
