What is the composition of the coded magnetic switches?

The Schneider Electric Coded Magnetic Switch (CMS) is a complete product consisting of two parts:
A magnetic switch: this part has a pre wired cable, and is not sold on its own.
A coded magnet: this part which has no cable, has a part number and can therefore be ordered as a replacement part.
When purchasing, the complete product can be ordered by quoting a product part number from the catalogue or from the product packaging.
This complete product part number only appears on the product packaging, not on the individual parts making up the product. The parts making up the product are identified by two other part numbers.
Product (2 parts) with part number = Magnetic switch (supplied with cable) without part number + Coded magnet with part number.
In most cases, the complete part number can be derived from the part number printed on the switch. Just replace the Z with DM. E.g. XCSZP5902 printed on the switch. Full part number would be XCSDMP5902.
