To help you get started and make the most of your new Wiser home, we have provided a few helpful tips.
Introducing the Wiser Hub
To get started you need to decide how you'd like to run your home, and therefore whether you need a hub. A Wiser Hub allows you to access your Wiser Smart Home System from almost anywhere you have internet access through the Wiser by SE app.
Without a Wiser Hub you can still connect to your smart devices through Bluetooth (point-to-point pairing) and the Wiser by SE app when you are within range. It's easy to add a Wiser Hub to your home if you would like more access and control options, simply talk with your Wiser Approved Installer.

The Wiser by SE app offers you a simple and easy way to control your Wiser smart home products from your smart phone. Available on the App Store and Google Play, Wiser by SE App is your smart home assistant and the first step to getting connected.

Step 2: Think about your daily routines
How can your Wiser home make life easier? Maybe you’d like the lights to turn on at sunset every night? Simply use your Wiser by SE app and create ‘Automations’ to set everything just how you like it.
Step 3: Consider how your family uses your home
What kind of ‘moments’ do you want to create? If you’re a fan of movie nights use the Wiser by SE app to close the blinds, dim the lights and switch on the TV – all from your smart device.
Step 4: Enhance your peace of mind when you’re away
You can schedule certain lights to come on at 5.30pm and turn off at 10pm to help your home look lived-in while you're not there. Or schedule your blinds to open at sunrise and close at sunset.

Step 3. Enhance your peace of mind when you’re away
Before you head away, you can schedule Bluetooth connected lights to come on at 5.30pm and turn off at 10pm to help your home look lived-in even when you're not there. Use the Wiser by SE app to turn off any unnecessary schedules you have running to help save power.
