C-Bus DALI-2 Gateway Fundamentals
C-Bus DALI-2 Gateway Fundamentals is a self paced online course designed to equip you with:
- an intermediate level of knowledge on the physical unit and
- how it is programmed with the SpaceLogic C-Bus Commission software to setup and deploy a C-Bus DALI-2 solution.
The course contains a number of e-Learning modules designed to be completed in sequential order.
Each module covers specific technical elements and programming techniques for the SpaceLogic C-Bus DALI-2 Gateway and the commissioning software, SpaceLogic C-Bus Commission.
To complete these modules, you will need to have an internet connection both to install the software and access the course material. At a minimum, your laptop or computer must be running a Windows Operating System of Windows 10 64-bit.
Before registering for this course, the following considerations must be made:
- The SpaceLogic C-Bus DALI-2 Gateway should not be considered a replacement for the DALIControl product offer. Please reach out to your local sales representative/Project Services for advice on your DALIControl installation
- The SpaceLogic C-Bus DALI-2 Gateway (5502CDGP230) is considered an application controller for DALI-2 lines, it does not support the use of Electronic Control Devices (ECD’s) directly on the DALI line. The DALI-2 Gateway relies on the advanced functionality provided by C-Bus to control the DALI lines.
Upon completion of your registration for the course you will be sent a confirmation email which contains your access details to the e-Learning modules and instructions of where to access, download and install the SpaceLogic C-Bus Commission software.

- And one of either the:

- C-Bus Automation Controller Fundamentals Online Course
Objectives and content
The C-Bus DALI-2 Gateway Fundamentals Online Course consists of a number of e-Learning modules designed to be completed in sequential order. These modules will provide:
- An overview of the physical characteristics of the SpaceLogic C-Bus DALI-2 Gateway
- The migratory process between C-Bus Toolkit and the SpaceLogic C-Bus Commission software.
- Techniques using the SpaceLogic C-Bus Commission software to:
- Program the SpaceLogic C-Bus DALI-2 Gateway
- Commission the electronic control gears (ECG’s) on a DALI line
- Commission emergency and exit lights on a DALI line for reporting
- The relationship between the gateway, commission software and the C-Bus Network Automation Controller
- Techniques to perform a Function or Duration Test on DALI emergency and exit lights using the C-Bus Network Automation Controller and how to generate the appropriate test reports.

Electrical Contractors and System Integrators who are required to perform programming of a C-Bus DALI-2 solution.
