                  Can the GV* starters be used on 50 hertz applications?

                  Resolution:
                  Yes, these starters are rated for 50/60 hertz.

                  This applies to all GV2M, GV2ME, GV2P, GV3M, GV3ME devices.

                  GV2G05 does not line up with GV2P08 terminals when using GV2G45. Is another part required?

                  Connector diagram in catalogue only shows GV2ME. As the GV2P (and GV2L) are deeper than the GV2ME the terminals will not line up with the terminals of the GV2G05

                  For GV2P height compensation bracket GV1F03 is required (not shown in diagram). This will raise GV1F03 so the terminals are in line with the terminals of the GV2P.

                  What items does the GV2PC02 enclosure suit?

                  What is the hole size of the padlock provision for a GV2P starter?

                  Resolution:
                  There are provisions for one padlock only, the hole size is approximately 6mm.  You can add a GV2V03 padlock attachment that will allow up to 6 padlocks for Lock out Tag out applications.

                  What is the operation of the GV2AD fault signalling contacts of the GV2 motor protection circuit breakers?

                  GV2ME, GV2P, GV2L, GV2LE, GV3P and GV3L Motor protection circuit breakers (MPCB) can be fitted with the following optional fault indicating contact blocks:
                   

                  GVAD0110
                  GVAD0101
                  GVAD1010
                  GVAD1001

                  These blocks comprise of fault signalling contacts and instantaneous auxiliary contacts

                  GVAD0110

                  A N/O instantaneous auxiliary contact (terminals 53-54), closed when the device is energized and open when the device is de-energized

                  A N/C fault signalling contact (terminals 95-96), closed if there is no fault, open when a fault (magnetic or thermal) occurs. 

                  GVAD0101

                  A N/C instantaneous auxiliary contact (terminals 51-52), closed when the device is de-energised and open when the device is energised.

                  A N/C fault signalling contact (terminals 95-96), closed if there is no fault, open when a fault (magnetic or thermal) occurs. 

                  GVAD1010 

                  A N/O instantaneous auxiliary contact (terminals 53-54), closed when the device is energized and open when the device is de-energized.

                  A N/O fault signalling contact (terminals 97-98), open if there is no fault, closed when a fault (magnetic or thermal) occurs. 
                   

                  GVAD1001

                  A N/C instantaneous auxiliary contact (terminals 51-52), closed when the device is de-energized and open when the device is energized.

                  The instantaneous auxiliary contact test is performed by creating a state of transition of the handle actuator between the de-energized position and the energized position.

                  The fault contact test is performed by pressing the test button when the handle actuator is in the closed position.
