StruxureWare and NetBotz product and license /passcode registration instructions are inaccurate

Issue:
StruxureWare and NetBotz product and license/passcode registration instructions are inaccurate.

Product Line:
StruxureWare Data Center Expert
StruxureWare Data Center Operation
NetBotz Appliances

Environment :
License key passcodes for al StruxureWare and NetBotz products.

Cause:
The instructions on the Passcode redemption certificate are inaccurate.  Register.netbotz.com now redirects to dcimassets.schneider-electric.com. The old registration site on register.netbotz.com has now been migrated to our new license and entitlement site.

Resolution:
Existing register.netbotz.com logins will work on our new DCIM Assets site. Either log in with an existing account or create a new account.
After logging in, there will be one or more groups on the left hand side. Clicking on this group allows you to see all devices in that group and it allows you access to the register asset button. To redeem a passcode, you must have an asset (ie. StruxureWare Server, NetBotz appliance etc) registered.

Note: All StruxureWare DCE Virtual Machines should be registered as AP94VMTRL Virtual Machine Trials. SFDCOBASE must be used to redeem StruxureWare Data Center Operation license keys

You can select the group and find an existing asset to which you must redeem the passcode against or you can click on the search button on the left to find the proper asset. MAC addresses may not be searchable using a separator so you may want to try without a separator as well. Once you find the correct asset, click the menu (horizontal lines to the right of the asset) and select redeem passcode. Paste or type in the passcode and hit Next, the screen should indicate what type of license key is being redeemed. Click next and you will see a new dialog box with the license key. Click "Component Details" to display the license key. Copy and paste this key into the system to which you are trying to add the license. Please be sure to omit any spaces.

Any asset with the greater than symbol displayed next to it has license keys associate with it. Click the greater than symbol to expand that asset and view any registered licenses. Clicking on a license will bring up its information. Click "Component Details" to display the license key.
If you need assistance with product and passcode registration, license key transfers, or for problems with the product registration site, please call or email your local technical support group.

Why does StruxureWare Data Center Expert not accept my One Time passcode?

Issue:
StruxureWare Data Center Expert is not accepting my One Time passcode.

Product line:
StruxureWare Data Center Expert

Environment:
StruxureWare Central /  Data Center Expert all versions.

Cause:
SturuxureWare Data Center Expert requires a 64 character license key that is created at https://dcimassets.schneider-electric.com/ by combining the passcode and the Data Center Expert's MAC address.

Resolution:
The Passcode you receive when purchasing a license key is not the actual license.
Below you will find instructions to convert the passcode to a license key.

2. Log in to the site using e-mail and password (older register.netbotz.com logins should work on the new site)
3. If you have never registered, please create a profile by clicking on the blue "Not registered? Create an account" hyperlink located on the page.
4. There should be a default group with any assets already registered. Click on the group to view assets contained within.

Please remove this space before entering the key into the asset by pasting it into a word processing application such as notepad..

1) Log into the DCIM Assets website at https://dcimassets.schneider-electric.com
NOTE: If you have an existing solution that already has license keys installed, your company should already have an account.  Either have a user that has access to the account, or your local technical support assist with adding a new user to the account.

2) Once logged in, navigate to the home tab and then select the device group on the left side.

3) Select Register Asset.
NOTE: If your asset is already registered, you can click on it to verify the asset details to ensure the MAC address and serial numbers are correct.  Skip to step 5 if your asset is already registered.

4) Depending on what type of license key you are redeeming, select either: Data Center Expert Model, NetBotz Model, or SFDCOBase (Data Center Operation).

5) To the right of the asset select the options key and then redeem passcode.

6) Enter the passcode that you received via mail or by e-mail case sensitively, including any special characters.  Select Next and then Apply.

7) Expand down the component details section using the arrow to the left of component details.

8) Copy both lines of the license key and enter into the respective interfaces.
