Modbus tester is a very good tool to test the VSD-PLC communication, and helps determining which side the communication problem is from, on the VSD or PLC in system integration.

However, with tests, the modbus tester is found unable to read/write registers in ATV320/ VW3A3616 combination in Modbus TCP and Ethernet IP. The behavior is reading 0 from all registers. The issue should come from the access of assemblies of Modbus tester. No issue on the ATV600/900s, no issue on control expert and machine expert.
