Cannot change contrast

Cause:
The menu 7.4 Keypad parameters is accessible if access level is set to Advanced or Expert. The value of the contrast parameters, standby time are stored in the keypad and not in the drive. Check the software version of the drive if it's an old version these parameters might not appear.
Resolution:
Purchase current version level keypads.
