Issue:
Primary injection testing a Masterpact NW circuit breaker, and the A phase current injected is higher than the trip unit reads.  B and C phases are OK.  What is wrong?

Product Line:
HHTK

Resolution:
The HHTK puts a burden on the A phase CT which reduces the current reading. You need to use the adapter that comes with the HHTK (handheld test kit) to eliminate this problem. It plugs into the HHTK, and the cable plugs into it.  The replacement catalog number for the Primary Injection Test Adapter is S33937.

NOTE:  Newer HHTK kits with the "Schneider" logo have an internal adapter and do not require the S33937.  HHTK with MG or Square D logos do need the adapter.  If in doubt, use the adapter; it will be OK even if the HHTK doesn't need it.
