What are terminals T1 and T2 used for on the VW3A7701 braking resistor?

Cause:
Clarification of product features is needed by the customer

Resolution:
Terminals T1 and T2 are a thermally activated contact on the resistor to indicate an overheat condition of the resistor.  The contacts are normally closed and open once the braking resistor temperature reaches 120 degrees Centigrade.  The minimum voltage/current for these contacts is 24VDC at .1 amps.  The maximum voltage/current is 250VAC at 1.0 amps.

Does the ATV312 braking resistors come with temperature thermal protection?

The documentation that comes with the resistor does not indicate.

Resolution:
Braking resistors VW3A7723 to VW3A7725 do not have thermal protection temperature switches.  Braking resistors VW3A7701 to VW3A7705 has thermal protection temperature switches. The tripping temperature is 120 deg. C. Max voltage - current AC = 250V ~ 1 A DC = 24V ~ 0.1 A
