Reading DDT function block in BMEH586040 ,after a Swap from Primary to Standby

Issue:
In Hot Standby system with a BMEH586040 CPU, BMENUA0100 module and using the Read DDT function block to successfully read the DDT for both the primary and standby BMENUA0100 module.
However sometimes when we swap the Primary and Standby the DDT stops being read by the Read DDT block and both the Primary and Standby racks have to be power cycled before the block starts reading again. This does not occur every time, sometimes the DDT still keeps getting read.
Are there any additional actions that we need to take in order to read the BMENUA0100 DDT in a hot standby setup?
