Electrician Warranty Frequently Asked Questions

To check the status of your warranty claim, please contact our warranty team by replying to the confirmation email which you should receive after submitting your warranty claim submission. Alternatively, you can contact our dedicated warranty team via phone (13 73 28).

If you’ve obtained a replacement product via a wholesaler, the original item can be returned to the wholesaler in line with their returns process.

They will advise on credit or replacement options based on their policy.

Yes, if the product is within its warranty period, you can submit a request.

Our team will work with you to determine suitable support options based on the product and availability.

Costs such as troubleshooting, administration, certificates, after-hours rates or call out charges are not covered by warranty. If you are likely to incur any exceptional costs outside of normal rates please contact SE for pre-approval.

Either a quote for work yet to be completed, or an invoice for work already completed is required. Either quote or invoice may require amendment prior to approval.

One of the following documents is required as proof of purchase/installation:

  • Invoice from Electrician or Electrical Wholesaler
  • Proof of Installation (Certificate of Compliance)
  • Certificate of Occupancy or Final Inspection document will be considered
  • Clipsal warranty handover document provided by your builder
