Do you have a 3 pole 100A isolator in the WHB or 56 Series?

Only the WMS3100, however you could also use the SW3100 in the 56CB4 enclosure.

Where can I find information on the sw100, sw101, sw102 and sw103 dip switches on the ATV212 drives?

Issue:
Where can I find information on the sw100, sw101, sw102 and sw103 dip switches on the ATV212 drives?

Product Line:
Altivar ATV212

Environment:
Altivar 212 drive

Cause:
Needs to know where they can find information on the dip switch settings.

Resolution:
There are 5 dip switches on the ATV212 drives
SW101= FM analog output U= voltage output I = current output
SW102= Sink Source switch
SW103= Term Switch. Selection of communication terminal resistor. When SW103 is set to Term, internal 120 Ohm termination resistor is connected between A and B terminals.
SW100= VIA= VIA analog input switch (U= voltage input or I= current input)
    VIB= VIB analog input switch (0-10-vdc input or PTC input)

What is the catalog number for the green 12-pin connector for Micrologic trip units on Powerpact P and R frame breakers?

Product Line:
Circuit Breakers

Environment:
Electrical Distribution Equipment

Resolution:
The trip unit connector is cat. no. S33100. It includes terminal identification markings.

Can a 5.0P or 5.0H trip unit be used for ground fault alarm without tripping?

Product Line:
Circuit Breakers

Environment:
Electrical Distribution Equipment.

Resolution:
Yes. To have ground-fault alarm without tripping, add a programmable contact module (M2C or M6C), and program the trip unit for alarm.
Neither the 5.0 nor 5.0A trip units can be used because those trip units do not have the required programming functionality.
If replacing a standard trip unit (not A, P or H), the 12-pin connector for the trip unit (kit S33101 for Masterpact, S33100 for Powerpact) must also be ordered.

How can a Powerpact P or R frame breaker with a 3.0 trip unit be modified to have ground-fault indication.

Product Line:
Circuit Breakers

Environment:
Electrical Distribution Equipment

Resolution:
Replace the trip unit with a 5.0P trip unit (S163A) and use a M2C (S64273) or M6C (S64204) programmable contact module. When replacing a standard trip unit (not A, P or H), the 12-pin connector for the trip unit (kit S33101 for Masterpact, S33100 for Powerpact) must also be ordered.

Set alarm up via trip unit Amperage Protection menu (trip curve button). Then set up S1 or S2 contact on 2PCM programmable contact module in MAINTENANCE menu (wrench button). Need neutral CT if it is a 4 wire system.

How to setup VIA and VIB on the ATV212 drive using 0-5V instead of 0-10V?

Issue:
Can I set 0-5V analog signal on VIA and VIB on the ATV212 drive?

Product Line:
ATV212 SFlex212

Environment:
All model numbers, all serial numbers

Cause:
Customer wanted to use 0-5V instead of 0-10V.

Resolution:
For setting up VIA using 0-5V, then follow the steps below:
F201 = 0
F202 = 0
F203 = 50% or 5V
F204 = 60 for 60Hz in US

For setting up VIB using 0-5V, then follow the steps below:
F210 = 0
F211 = 0
F212 = 50% or 5V
F213 = 60 for 60Hz in US

In addition, please make sure SW100 (voltage/current selection for analog I/O VIA and VIB) are set for U (voltage).

What is the size of cable terminal for part number 4SW1100?

The size of cable terminal is up to 25mm2

Can ground fault be disabled on a Micrologic 6.0A, 6.0P or 6.0H trip unit on a Masterpact NT/NW or Powerpact P/R circuit breaker?

Issue:
Can the ground fault pickup be disabled on a Micrologic 6.0A (Ammeter), 6.0P (Power) or 6.0H (Harmonic) trip unit?

Product Line:
Micrologic, Masterpact, Powerpact

Environment:
6.0 (A, P, H) trip units on Powerpact P- and R-frames, Masterpact NW- and NT-frames

Cause:
Need to disable ground fault on a breaker with LSIG trip functions

Resolution:
No. To eliminate ground fault protection, replace the trip unit with a 5.0 type.
For ground fault alarm, replace the trip unit with a 5.0P trip unit (S163A) and use a M2C (S64273) or M6C (S64204) programmable contact module.  If replacing a standard trip unit (not A, P or H), the 12-pin connector for the trip unit (kit S33101 for Masterpact, S33100 for Powerpact) must also be ordered.

Note:  if ground needs to be temporarily disabled for primary injection testing, refer to FA98682.
