Register format:
1st Register High byte: IP Address 1st Octet
1st Register Low byte: IP Address 2nd Octet
2nd Register High byte: IP Address 3rd Octet
2nd Register Low byte: IP Address 4th Octet

Range:
000.000.000.000 to 255.255.255.255

Example:
In this example we are assuming that the PM800 we are reading has a current IP configuration of 10.168.96.17

1. Read registers 622 and 623



2. Convert the register data into binary format:
Register 622: 2728 dec = 101010101000 bin
Register 623: 24593 dec = 110000000010001 bin

3. Convert the binary data into High and Low bytes for each register:
Register 622: 1010 10101000
High byte = 1010 = 00001010
Low byte = 10101000

Register 623: 1100000 00010001
High byte = 1100000 = 01100000
Low byte = 00010001

4. Convert the High and Low Bytes back to decimal format:
Register 622:
High byte = 00001010 bin = 10 dec
Low byte = 10101000 bin = 168 dec

The Dwyer 626 is a 3wire connection which will require it's own power.  The - (negative of M221) goes to the common and + (positive of M221) goes the white.  See below for more information.

The datasheet showing the meter dimensions is misleading

Resolution
The correct dimensions are like those in the mechanical drawing: 226 mm high x 147 mm wide x 189 mm deep. The required cut-out will be, as on page 3, 149 mm wide x 230 mm tall.

Note: the mounting bolts are size 10-32.

Verify the MSXML files in your programs and features under the control panel if missing.

If these files doesn't appear into the programs and features.

Download and install the msxml4.dll.

Copy the file msxml.msi to the local PC and run it as administrator for the customer which have no MSXML 4.0 Parser shown in Control Panel. After that check the control panel again to see if it is show up. Than try to run Realflo again.
 

STBNIP2212 Loses Modbus Communications Under a Specific Condition

Release Notice

The purpose of this resolution is to inform users of STB Ethernet NIM's (Modbus TCP and Ethernet/IP) of a communication issue that may occur under a specific condition.

Goals and Symptoms

If an STBNIP2212 was powered on for 828 consecutive days, it would lose Modbus communications for 20 minutes, recover on its own and will not fault again with this behavior for another 828 days.

PRODUCTS Affected

    • STBNIP2212 RoHs versions (RoHs versions are identified with an SV equal to or greater than 2.70)
      • RoHs is the acronym for Restriction of Hazardous Substances. RoHS, also known as Directive 2002/95/EC, originated in the European Union and restricts the use of specific hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic PRODUCTS. The substances banned under RoHS are lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (CrVI), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE).
    • STBNIP2212 non-RoHs versions (non-RoHs versions are identified with an SV less than 2.70)
    • STBNIC2212

Causes and Fixes

CauseThe 828 consecutive days powered on relates to an internal clock value in the STBNIP2212. When this specific clock value is reached, an issue occurs with the ARP cache creating a 20 minute Modbus TCP communication loss. After this 20 minute period, the communications will recover on its own. ICMP service may or may not be immediately affected by this event but will recover at the same time as Modbus TCP communications.

How to Manage the Issue with Existing Firmware
If at any time, the NIP is power cycled, its clock count value resets to zero and starts a new 828 day operating period. This can be done during any scheduled maintenance period within the 828 day time frame to avoid this event.

Solution
New firmware for each of the 3 affected PRODUCTS will be posted to resolve this issue but a schedule for availability was not confirmed at the time of this posting.
 

This Resolution will be updated with specific Exec version details when the updated firmware becomes available.
