      The LRD relays has a solid tag to be used with LC1D** contactors. If you are not using LC1D contactors then using the following accessories you can terminate cable directly.

      GV2 Adapter Plate Mounting

      Two lock elements come with LAD311. The first one, already mounted on LAD311 when delivered is suitable for almost all cases of LC1D contactor. However, depending on the type of coil of the contactor (DC or AC), this element shall be mounted in one position for DC or turned by 180° around an horizontal axis for AC coil contactor. Note that on the lateral face of this elements the markings “DC” or “AC” mounted upwards indicates the right position to be used. The second LAD311 lock element shall be used when mounting contactors LC1D09 to LC1D18 with screw clamp. In this case, this element shall be mounted on LAD311 instead of the first one which can be scrapped away.

      Use the LAD9R1V kit for mechanical and electrical interlocking or use the LAD9R1 kit for mechanical interlocking without electrical interlocking. Both include power connections


       

      ETSNZ - Can Tesys F range contactors be used in safety applications?

      According to IEC60947-4-1 appendix F, mirror contact is one of the means necessary to ensure safety for contactors
      (in the standard "...mirror contact should not be relied upon exclusively as a means to ensure safety..." ).

      TeSys F contactors do not include internal mirror contacts. So we, Schneider, do not actively promote TeSys F as a contactor for safety applications.
      However, TeSys F can be fitted with auxiliary contacts add-on blocks. For some of these blocks LADN01, LADN02, LADN04, LADN11, LADN22, LADN31 and LADN13, a NC auxiliary contact has been recognised by VDE as mirror contact. This allows to use TeSys F in safety applications.
      Attached are the VDE Certificates recognising the NC auxiliary contact with the blocks mentioned above as mirror contact.

      To sum up and give clear answers to TeSys F and safety applications ;
      1. If Tesys F contactor can be used for safety applications?

      Yes, it can be used if, this is mandatory, it is fitted with one the above mentioned add-on blocks. VDE Certificate recognising the auxiliary contact as mirror can be provided.


      2. When asked, can we answer that Tesys F have mirror contact, provided by auxiliary contact blocks?

      Yes for the above mentioned add-on blocks and with the VDE Certificate
