Is it possible to change how Lexium 23 responds to alarm 014 or alarm 015 when reaching the end of travel limit switches?

Reaching end of travel limit switches will always result in a stop of motion and the respective alarm code being displayed.
This behavior is firmware related and can not be modified.
There are no provisions to change this behavior.

When Lexium 23 reaches the end of travel limit swiches it responds by stopping motion and displaying alarm 014 or alarm 015, depending on the direction of travel when reaching the limit switch.
To recover from this event you must reset the alarm and then create movement in the opposite direction of the limit switch that has been reached.

Could 110V motor be started with LH4N1___LU7 from the 110V single phase commercial power supply?

Goals and Symptoms

Could 110V motor be started with LH4N1___LU7 from the 110V single phase commercial power supply?

Facts and Changes

LH4N1____LU7

Causes and Fixes

It's possible to supply the product directly under 110 V, you can put an elevator transformer before the LH4 ( on phases 1 and 3 ) and another transformer after the LH4 to reduce the voltage because the motor is 110 V.
Other possibility is to realize a specification but depend to your quantity.
We can also propose you a field test with the ATS01 if the rated current is 3, 6 , or 12 A.

What is the derating factor used when sizing LH4N for a high number of starts per hour than the standard spec of 360 seconds.

Goals and Symptoms

What is the derating factor used when sizing LH4N for a high number of starts per hour than the standard spec of 360 seconds.

Facts and Changes

LH4N Starts/hour
starting

Causes and Fixes

There is not studies which gives a factor to determine the power of LH4 in an appliction with high number start/stop per hour upper her electrical characteristics of the product.
The catalogue tell you :
-'' if starting and stpopping conditions are severe, or if the starting current must be controlled, it is preferable to use an ATS48 unit''.
- ''beyond this starting duty, the start unit must be derated by one size''.

However , we thinks when the number of start/stop is considerable and it would have been preferable to use a variable speed drive.

Note:  The LH4 softstart family is obsolete. It was replaced by the ATS01 softstart, or in the case of the larger LH4's the ATS22.

Now measure the output terminals the same way. Be sure your meter is set in diode scale and measure T1, T2, T3 to PA/+. You should read 0.3 to 0.7v in the forward bias direction and 'OL' in the reverse bias direction.
Measure T1, T2, T3 to the PC/- terminals. Your meter should read 0.3 to 0.7v in the forward direction and 'OL' in the reverse direction.

On 30HP and above sizes
Using the meter in Ohm scale, check L1, L2, L3 to PA/+ you will read 40k Ohms or higher in both forward and reverse direction.
Put your meter in the diode scale and from L1, L2, L3 to PC/-. Your meter should read 0.3 to 0.7v in the forward bias direction and 'OL' in the reverse bias
Now check T1, T2 ,T3 to PA/+ in diode scale. Your meter should read 0.3 to 0.7v in the forward bias direction and 'OL' in the reverse direction.

What is a USF fault on ATV61/71

Issue:
What is a USF fault on ATV61/71.

Product Line:
All drives.

Environment:
All.

Causes:
Low voltage on drive's DC bus.

Resolution:
USF is a mains undervoltage fault that appears when the drive's DC bus goes below a certain value.
Check the Mains voltage on L1, L2, and L3 with a true RMS meter.
Measure DC voltage on drive's DC bus PA (+) and PC(-) with meter.
