What is the shaft size for R01

How does one get a replacement for the Berger Lahr RSM synchronous motor?

Berger Lahr is now Schneider Electric Motion.
Berger Lahr produced many types and models of the RSM synchronous motors.
Some RSM motors are still offered by Schneider Electric while others are no longer produced.
However, it is important to understand that RSM motors are not available in single piece quantities.
All RSM motor types must be purchased in quantities that range from a 15 piece minimum to as many as 25 piece minimum depending on the model.

Therefore in the event you are in need of a single RSM type motor it would be best to contact the builder of the machine in which the RSM motor was installed for a replacement.
Many times the machine builder can provide a spare RSM motor.

Getting error E7854 on LXM32M with eSM safety module

Issue:
Getting error E7854 on LXM32M + ESM module

Product Line:
LXM32M

Resolution:
It's not possible to increase the delay of 36 hours. This is a necessary feature for certification  to reach the safety integrity level (SIL3 and performance level e).
To reset the fault, It's not enough to switch the drives to state rdy because the eSM module has a separate state machine (eSM_state, Mb19500).
Starting the eSM module puts it in operation enable (state 6) and it  counts the standstill time.
With object eSM disable (Mb 19508), you can switch off the eSM  (to RDY state 4) so that there's no more motor movement monitoring.
With a new eSM-Start the monitoring is reset to 36h.
Another possibility is to do a fault reset when E7854 occurs because E7854 is a class 2 error.

For Sepam 80: what is the correct order for adding the accessories MSA 141, MET 148, DSM 303, and MCS 025?

Goals and Symptoms

For Sepam 80: what is the correct order for adding the accessories MSA 141, MET 148, DSM 303, and MCS 025?

Causes and Fixes

The Sepam 80 has got 2 Ports. Using these, it is always possible to be able add all the different accessories that one might need for the Sepam 80.
On the D1 port, connect in order the MSA 141, next 1 or 2 MET 148 ( 1 MET 148 if you use also DSM 303) and next at the end the DSM 303

On the D2 port, connect in order the Second MET 148 and the MCS 025 at the end.

Rule:
You can connect a maximum of three accessories on each port (D1 or D2).
The DSM 303 and the MCS 025 have to be always at the end of this chain. So if you use these 2 Accessories DSM and MCS on same Sepam 80, you have to use necessarily the 2 ports ( i.e. set the DSM at the end of D1 and set the MCS 025 at the end of D2)

Explanation of error E7875 on LXM32 drive with eSM module

Issue:
Error E7875 on the LXM32 drive with the eSM safety module

Product Line:
LXM32

Resolution:
Error E7875 is generated when error E7804 have been triggered 5 times.
E7875 is a class 4 error and it requires a power cycle to clear it.
E7804 means a deceleration of type QuickStop did not respect the ramp monitored by eSM_dec_Qstop. E7804 is a class 3 error and can be easily reset.

In case a safety barrier has been crossed, and was linked to inputs ESTOP_A/B, the system immediately signals an eStop error E780A and generates a QuickStop.
The drive decelerates following the ramp configured in RAMPquickstop and simultaneously, the eSM module monitors if the deceleration is at least as fast as the value of parameter eSM_dec_Qstop
If this is not the case, the eSM module generates the 1st error E7804. After 5 E7804, the eSM module generates error E7875.

Solution:
--> Increase the deceleration ramp during eStops.
--> Add a braking resistor if necessary.
--> Reduce the load or the load inertia if possible.

What is the right way to connect and chain the MET 148, MSA 141, and DSM 303 accessories on the Sepam 20 or 40?

Goals and Symptoms

What is the right way to connect and chain the MET 148, MSA 141, and DSM 303 accessories on the Sepam 20 or 40?

Causes and Fixes

On the D Port you have to connect and chain in order:

(1) MSA 141

(2) MET 148 ( Attention: Option 2 MET 148 for Sepam 40 only )

(3) DSM 303 (Always at the end of this chain and only if no more than 2 accessories already connected on Sepam)

Note: you can't connect more 3 accessories on this chain so if you already have 1 MSA 141 and 2 MET 148 it is impossible to set also 1 DSM 303. In this case if you want to put this DSM 303, you have to remove the MSA 141 or 1 MET 148.

Key words and phrases: MSA141, MET148, DSM303

How can I have my alarm monitored without a phone line available in HomeSafe?

If you do not have a phone line available or you're connected to the NBN with phone line service unavailable, you can connect your alarm system directly to a GSM Dialer.

The GMS dialer utilizes a Mobile GSM Network SIM Card, the alarm will dial out via the GSM Dialer as per normal on the Mobile GSM Network - this is the same as your mobile phone.

The programming in the alarm is the same if your using a fixed line, if already programmed you don't need to make any changes.

Attached is a brochure from NESS with their GSM Dialer offer.
