On ATV320 drive, what would cause register 5202 reading logic input status LI6 not to turn on?

      Product Line:
      ATV320 drive

      Environment:
      All

      Cause:
LI6 status is not showing up on register 5202 logic input status.

      Resolution:
Reading address 5202 over Canopen or modbus and bit 5 for LI6 is not turning on.

Checked PTC assignment and its NO

Checked with a meter and com to LI6= 24vdc

Updating Firmware on Obsolete 16 bit SCADAPacks (including SCADAPack Plus, SCADAPack Light and Micro 16 controllers)

This Technical Note describes the hardware requirements for updating firmware on obsolete SCADAPack models that include the 5203 & 5204 CPU boards (SCADAPacks from 2004 and earlier). The 5203 contains 2 RS-232 communication ports and the 5204 contains 1 RS-485 port and 1 RS-232 communication port. Both hardware boards where manufactured as part of SCADAPack, SCADAPack Light, SCADPack Plus and Micro 16 models.

      Board Layout

Older versions of the 5203/5204 board has a place for 4 40-pin integrated circuits. These are labelled as U13, U14, U15 and U10 from left to right. There are also 2 jumper pins J3 and J4. These components determine the flash and RAM that is currently installed on the SCADAPack. In order to update the firmware on a 5203/5204 board to the latest released version, the SCADAPack must have 1024 bytes of RAM (OS & APP) installed.

      Determining Installed RAM

U15 & U10 along with the jumper pins J3 and J4 determine how much RAM is installed. These chips can range from 128K - 512k each. Refer to to the table below to determine how much RAM is installed.

Total RAM OS RAM (U10) Jumper J4 APP RAM (U15) Jumper J3
      256k 128k Right 128k Right
      640k 128k Right 512k Left
      1024k 512k Left 512k Left
      512k 512k Left 0 Left
      640k 512k Left 128k Right

If jumpers J3 and J4 are currently in the "Right" position, then you will need to update one or both of the RAM chips in U15 and U10. Contact your Schneider Electric Telemetrey & Remote SCADA Solutions Sales representative for part numbers and pricing or email SalesTRSS@Schneider-Electric.com

      Firmware vs. Installed RAM

If the RAM installed is less than 1024K (i.e. anything but 1024k), then firmware version 1.65 is the highest that can run on the controller. Please contact Technical Support at trss-support@schneider-electric.com to obtain firmware version 1.65.

If you are updating a SCADAPack with the latest version of Realflo, IEC-61131 programming environment or simply updating the firmware, then ensure you have both U15 and U10 chips installed and they are both 512K

was the 520 dimmer leading or trailing edge and would it be suitable for use with LED lighting?

It is Leading edge and only suitable for use with incandescent loads.

Can you have a diffrent key other than the original 455 Key for the harmony key switches?

Yes, for an example you can order a 458 key and add the suffix 10
      See table:
Key Number Suffix to be added
      458A 10
      421E 12
      520E 14
      3131A 20

Are the ZB4 / ZB5 keyed selector switches all keyed alike?

      Issue:
What is the standard key number of the ZB4 / ZB5 selector switches?

      Product Line:
      Harmony Pushbuttons

      Environment:
      All Products

      Resolution:
Standard operators will be keyed alike with a Ronis 455 key. Other keys changes can be obtained by adding the proper suffix to the part number.
Example: ZB4BG3 12 will give a ZB4BG3 with a 421E key. Here are some standard key changes. Other key changes are available. Suggest checking the Q2C profiles for other key changes.
Add suffix 12 for 421E key.
Add suffix 10 for 458A key.
Add suffix 14 for 520E key.
Add suffix 20 for 3131A key.

How can I monitor the logic inputs status in Ethernet TCP/IP for ATV61 and ATV71 ?

      Issue:
How to monitor the logic input map to determine status of the logic inputs.

      Product Line:
      Altivar 61/71

      Environment:
All Models and serial numbers.  Ethernet IP with Assemblies 100 and 101 with Profile as I/O

      Cause:
      None

      Resolution:
To monitor the state of the logic inputs add logic address 5202 in the input scanner.  This is a read only and allows monitoring of the logic input map.  The map is as follows.
      Bit 0 is LI1
      Bit 1 is LI2
      Bit 2 is LI3
      Bit 3 is LI4
      Bit 4 is LI5
      Bit 5 is LI6
