Causes and Fixes

The following video demonstrates how to create, then save a Data Watch Window for registers 40030 through 40035. A written procedure is available below the video.

There are two ways to open a Data Watch Window. You can either.....
1- Go to the main toolbar and select PROJECT then DATA WATCH WINDOW.
2- From the Navigation window, open DATA EDITORS and select DATA WATCH WINDOW.

Once the Data Watch Window has been opened, follow this procedure for filling the Data Watch Window with addresses:
1- Right-click in the Data Watch Window, and click Fill Addresses. The Add Addresses dialog box opens.
2- Enter address 40030 in the Starting Address field. This is the first in a range of addresses to be added to the Data Watch Window.
3- Enter numeric value 6 in the Number of Addresses field. This is the length of the range of addresses (40030 to 40035) to be added to the
Data Watch Window.
4- Click OK. Addresses specified are added at the current grid location. Existing addresses may be overwritten.

To save the Data Watch Window template, right-click in the Data Watch Window, and click Save Address Template.
A Datawatch Log File (*DWA) will be created with the project name and placed into the folder you choose.

Why is the trip C.B. feature not available for Sepam 40?

The option to select trip CB is not available in the protections.

PME2020-Alarm description correction - Polish translation

There is an error in the translation for an Alarm description in PME.
Translation of 40-30 Volt Intrp alarm in PME is not correct. It translates: “interpolation” instead of “interruption”.


Section 3 – Root Cause
PME 2020 Incorrect translation

Section 4 – Resolution
The issue has been reported and it will be formally addressed in the upcoming PME version.
The request is to replace "interpolacja" per "przerwa w zasilaniu".

Current behavior
It shows“4-30 V3, interpolacja – V3-HS”
Desired behavior
“4-30 V3, przerwa w zasilaniu – V3-HS”.

In the meanwhile, the following workaround can be deployed. As a best practice, please backup the file and stop the services prior to doing any changes.

The strings are contained in the IONNames.pl.resx file located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\Power Monitoring Expert\system\etc.
Resx files can be edited in a text editor so that should be easy. Replace "interpolacja" per "przerwa w zasilaniu".
