What would cause the Twido Real Time Clock (RTC) to have the time drift?

Issue:
Why is there a drift with the Twido RTC?

Product line:
Twido

Environment:
Twidosoft or Twidosuite

Cause:
Not synchronizing the correction factor in the software with the hardware.

Resolution:
The Twido when configuring a Real Time Clock (RTC) it requires the user to go on line to the Twido and go to the Check PLC tab to Configure the RTC. There is a Correction Factor that has to be entered in the software. This is either located on the RTC chip for the low end Twido controllers or next to the 40DRF controllers mini din port on the unit. Once the correction factor is entered and applied at this point the RTC adjustment can now be set and synchronized.

Note: The Twido product line is obsolete and has been replaced with the M221 and Ecostruxure Machine Expert Basic (formally SoMachine Basic).
