Resolution:
The ATV600 series drives comes standard with 3x RJ45 communication ports.  1 port is Ethernet/Modbus TCP, 2 ports are Modbus serial.
 - Ethernet port
          - Modbus TCP message handling is based on the Modbus protocol
          - SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol)
          - The FDR (Fast Device Replacement) service allows automatic reconfiguration of a new device installed to replace an existing device
          - Device security is reinforced by disabling some unused services as well as managing a list of authorized devices
          - Setup and adjustment tools (SoMove, Unity with DTM) can be connected locally or remotely
          - The embedded Web server is used to display operating data and dashboards as well as to configure and diagnose system elements from any web browser

These numerous services offered by the Ethernet port mean that Altivar Process drives can be integrated into Schneider Electric solutions.

- Serial ports
          - One port dedicated to field network operation for exchanging data with other devices via the Modbus protocol
          - A second dedicated port for the multidrop connection of the following HMIs and configuration tools:
          - The remote graphic display terminal supplied with the drive
          - A Magelis industrial HMI terminal
          - A PC with SoMove or Unity setup software

Optional communication modules
The Altivar Process drive can also be connected to other industrial communication buses and networks by using one of the communication modules available as an
option. Communication cards are supplied in “cassette” format for ease of mounting/removal.

- EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP Dual port, CANopen, PROFINET**, PROFIBUS DP V1**, DeviceNet and BACnet. 
Please note that Lonworks is not available for the ATV600 series drives.  An external gateway will be required. 

**PROFINET and PROFIBUS DP V1 modules also support the Profidrive and CiA402

Can Z4025XA accommodate 60PBI intermediate mech ?

No, the 60PBI is a push button and is only suitable for switch plates eg. Z4061VH
The Z4025XA is designed to accommodate either 60R32,60R32COOK, 60RMD20COOK or 60R16 as replacement.
It is supplied complete with 60R16 .

What could cause the ATV21 or ATV212 drive, to trip on E20 fault?

Issue:
My ATV21/ATV212 drive is tripping on E20 faults.

Cause:
Excessive torque boost.
The drive calculates the expected motor torque based on the program parameters.  This fault occurs when the calculated value does not match the measured value.
It is most common on Pump and Fan applications when slowing down (decelerating) from above 40 Hz.

Resolution:
The E20 fault could be due to:

  1. An incorrect setting of the motor name plate data in the drive motor parameters.
  2. Incorrect deceleration ramp time for the application
  3. A wrong Auto tuning result (F402 parameter) when using certain motor control types (PT = 2 , 3 or 4).
  4. Ub parameter (voltage boost) is set too high.


We suggest you check the following in order:

Verify the correct the motor name plate data has been set in the parameters as follows:

ulu = motor voltage
uL = nominal motor frequency
F415 = nominal motor current
F417 = motor RPMs

Check that AU1= 0 (auto ramp is off).  The default setting for this parameter is 1 (on).

If this does not help, then:
Program a dual ramp.

F505= 40hz  2nd ramp frequency
F500= 12 seconds  ACC 2
F501= 12 seconds DEC 2

A bad auto tuning result when the Pt parameter is set to 2, 3, or 4 can cause this.

Perform a new Auto tune
Set F400 = 2 , give a run command (F or R input =24Vdc) , wait the end of the display message Atn1 (the motor must be cold and without any rotation).

Too high value of ub parameter (boost torque1) in function of the motor control law (PT = 0 or 1).

Reset the drive back to the factory setting or reduce the ub value set by the customer.

What can cause a ILF fault on the ATV71 drive with an VW3A3501 CIC card installed?

Issue:
ILF fault on the ATV71 with an  VW3A3501 CIC card installed.

Cause:
If the CIC card is missing the external +24vdc pwr supply the drive will trigger an ILF fault after 1 sec of being powered up.      

Resolution:
Per the CIC installation manual document, atv71_controller_inside_EN_V3 page 10, it is recommended to add an external power supply part number ABL7RE2402 to the controller inside cards +24vdc and com terminals to resolve issue.
