What is the difference between S33595 full function test kit and S33594 hand-held test kit

Product Line:
Circuit Breaker Test Set

Resolution:
HHTK - The S33594 hand-held test kit will test the trip function of the breaker and may be used for inhibiting ground fault and thermal imaging, and enable zone selective interlocking (ZSI) self restraint during primary injection testing.

FFTK - The S33595 full function test kit will test LSIG functions as well as the same functions as listed above.

Why is my 5080CTC Touch Screen not booting up correctly/fully?

In regards to the 5000CTC touch screen stuck in booting mode.

It's a known issue if you are touching the screen during the boot up process the CTC will fail to boot entirely and will appear to be stuck in the booting up mode.

Our advise is once the screen is powered ON or soft reset, is to not touch the screen until it's fully booted and connected to C-Bus indicated in the top left corner.

Testing a Masterpact breaker, and the FFTK test kit says the breaker is different from what it is and it will not allow it to be changed

Issue:
Testing a Masterpact breaker, and the FFTK test kit says the breaker is different from what it is and it will not allow it to be changed.

Product Line:
Masterpact NT NW
Full Function Test Kit (FFTK) S33595

Resolution:
To change it, go into the trip unit menu by pressing the wrench key. Then go to Micrologic Setup, Breaker Selection, and change the Standard to Not Def. Press Meter key to exit, save settings, and continue to set up test on FFTK manually.

Issue: With Micrologic P/H trip units with firmware 2009AJ, date code 0948 or later, testing with the FFTK may have an issue if the trip unit has been set up for “ANSI” or “IEC/GB” as the standard and a breaker selection has been made. This issue can be corrected by choosing “not def” in the Breaker Selection menu. Once “not def” is saved, then the testing with the FFTK may begin with the user inputting the breaker type, standard, and interrupt rating on the FFTK touch screen.

When the testing is done, you can setup the breaker selection in the trip unit as they were prior to testing.

Please see attached document which contains photos of how to make the setup changes on the trip unit.
