      Error generated when running the "ION_Diag" diagnostics tool

      When running the ION_Diag diagnostics program, the following error is generated referring to MinDate and MaxDate properties and the program will not run.


      Run-time error '35773':
      A date was specified that does not fail within the MinDate and MaxDate properties.

      The error is a result of the transition to the year 2011. The Visual Basic form defines a MaxDate property for the date range desired for the system log which was set to 12/31/2010.

      Download and extract the attached version of ION_Diag and transfer it to the ION server.
      Run the new version of ION_Diag.exe.

      Begin by applying power to the UPS by Closing the Q1 Breaker (Located in System I/O Cabinet)

      Once the display is completely powered up and the Home screen is displayed, press the wrench icon in the lower left of the screen

      Then select the operation button
      Select System Startup

      Follow the on screen prompts for starting up the UPS.  As each option is performed it will highlight the next step.

      Some options are automated and will be done for you.

      The StF fault means the starter has exceeded the maximum start time setting, tLS, in the SEt menu.  

      tLS needs to be set higher than the ACC time.  
      For example:  If ACC (ramp up time) is 10 seconds, then set the tLS max starting time to 20 seconds.

      If ILt current limit is too low, the motor may not reach full speed within tLS limit.
      Mechanical problems on the load may prevent the motor from reaching full speed within tLS limit.

      The following video is a guide for troubleshooting the StF fault code, indicating a longer than expected start-up time, on the Altistart ATS22 soft starter by adjusting the tLS (maximum start time in seconds) and ACC (ramp up time) parameters under the SET menu. tLS must be set higher then the ACC time value.
