Is there a product available to stop LED flickering?

If you are experiencing flickering LED loads when dimming to low levels the 31LCDA has the potential to reduce and/ or remove the flickering. It is important to note that this device isn't guaranteed to remove flickering, it is designed to help with compatibility. If you don't achieve removal of flickering it is possible to stack a total of 3, 31LCDA's in parallel. If you are still experiencing issues once you have placed 3 in parallel your LED loads may just be incompatible and replacement of the LED loads may be necessary.

Some of the key features are:
  • 450W maximum load.
  • Potential removal of flickering.
  • Indoor use only.
  • Operating temperature 0°-65°C.
  • 220-240V A.C. typical, 50Hz only.

What has been changed with the new Rotary LED dimmers for Iconic range (40 series) and standard range (30 series)?

The 32ELEDM-WE is now replaced with the 32ELEDM2-WE and the 42E350RLD2M-VW is replaced with the 42ELEDM2-VW.
Both dimmers have now been improved and introduce the following new features
- New Digital electronic 2-wire trailing edge design for optimum LED dimming performance
- Kick start for faster LED turn on at low settings
- Mechanically adjustable minimum brightness setting
- In-built short circuit, over current and over temperature protection
- Full range smooth LED dimming from 1 – 100% (load dependant)
- Cleaner look with no markings on the control knobs

Please note that the load ratings have changed for the new version. The new 32ELEDM2-WE and 42ELEDM2-VW are rated to 150W to enable enhanced LED optimised control and dimming performance.

When used in conjunction with a Harmony range push button, the:
  1. Combination N/O + N/C, N/C opens and N/O closes
  2. N/C contact opens when push button is depressed
  3. N/O contact closes when push button is depressed
 
When used in conjunction with the 30mm range joystick application.
  1. Combination N/O + N/C will stay open so that it is neither open nor closed
  2. N/C contact is open
  3. N/O contact is open
When the joystick is maneuvered, the:
  1. Combination N/O + N/C will close at different positions of the joystick handle.
  2. N/C will close
  3. N/O will close

As such, these contacts do not act in the same way for a joystick as they do for the Harmony range push button application.
