Can Compact NSX communicate with motor mechanism installed?

Standard Compact NSX motor mechanism doesn't have the option for communication.

You would require a communicating Motor mechanism + BSCM + NSX Cord in order to achieve this.

NSX Motor mechanism

Please note: communicating Motor mechanism only comes in 220-240VAC.

NSX 100/160/250

NSX 400/630

You would also require IFM (LV434000) for Modbus output or IFE (LV434001 or LV434002) for Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet.

Once you have the above units/modules, then you should be able to control your circuit breaker with communication such as PLC.

List of Modbus registers can be found from Compact NSX communication guide

Attached is wiring diagram of NSX Motor Mechanism.

Does the trip caused by MX Shunt or MN Undervoltage release get captured in the event history of Micrologic 5.0/6.0/7.0 E/P/H?

The trip caused by MX shunt or MN undervoltage release will not be recorded in event history of Micrologic 5.0/6.0/7.0 E/P/H

The Micrologic wouldn't know if this trip is due to a fault or not.

The trip history is the means to display at any time the parameters measured during the last ten trips.

Accessing trip history is different in Micrologic E to Micrologic P/H

For Micrologic E:

For Micrologic P/H:

For each trip, the following parameters are recorded:
  • tripping cause
  • trip threshold
  • interrupted currents in amperes (only if an external power supply is present) for Ir, Isd/Ii, Ig or I∆n trips
  • date v time (hours, minutes and seconds).

From the main menus you can access the event history as follows

When you enter Event history you will find Trip history as shown below:

For more information kindly refer the latest user manual for these Micrologic trip units available on Schneider website - https://www.se.com/au/en/

How reset the C-Bus Wiser 1 (5200PG) back to factory defaults?

There are two ways to do this.
  1. The first is the physical method of inserting a thin paper clip end into the reset button (recessed in a hole) at the back of the unit. (1) Unplug the power connector, (2) insert the clip apply power and hold the button in for 10 seconds, and then (3) remove the clip and wait 30 seconds.
  2. The second method is to open the router Setup page (you must know the current username and password) go to the Administration page and select Factory Defaults. Confirm the selection.
Using either method, the router automatically reboots.
