The following error message appears in PowerLogic SCADA (PLS) v7.10 after starting Runtime:
Cannot Open Server <ServerName>. The port is in use or an attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions.
As a result, the IO Server will not start.
The default port used by the I/O Server is 2078. The above issue can be resolved by assigning a different port to the IO Server in the Servers > I/O Server field in the Project Editor.

SLF3 fault on the Altivar Process Drive

Customer said SLF3 fault appeared on the keypad or HMI.
This is a communication fault with the graphical keypad. This fault can only occur when the start command or the speed reference is processed by the graphical keypad (HMI). If the communication is interrupted for short time (2s), the trip message will be displayed.
Check the connection of graphical keypad.
Verify the cable length does not exceed 20m or 65 ft.
If graphical keypad is disconnected, reconnect the keypad and power cycle the drive to clear the fault.
