      Is there any difference of Pin-out cables for Power Suite PC and Remote Display for ATV18 / ATV28 / ATV31 ? I am asking because we have one costumer that is changing his ATV18 with remote display by ATV´s 28 and in a near future by ATV31, so does the PIN-out and remote displays are compatible by each others?

      The pin-out is the same between ATV 28 ( manufactured since Sept 2001 ) and ATV31, but the keypad are not compatible, not the same software.

      Configuring the time and date on the PM800 series meters through RS-485 when Ethernet is not available

      Resolution
      The date and time are stored in three-register compressed format. Each of the three registers contain a high and low byte value to represent the date and time in hexadecimal. For the synchronization, the command value is written in register 8000 and the values are in registers 8001, 8002, and 8003. The command used to initiate the change in register 8000 is 1311.

      Example Date: 01/25/2000 at 11:06:59
                    
      Hexidemical Value Hi Byte Lo Byte
      0119 01 = month 19 = day
      640B 64 = year 0B = hour
      063B 06 = minute 3B = seconds

      MbMaster can be used to determine if a modbus device is working.

      Resolution
      Run this program from a DOS prompt.

      For example here is a sample where I connect to a 6200 device at 19,200 baud. I am using the PC's COM2. The meter's Unit ID is 100 and it is configured to use the Modbus protocol. I am asking for Modbus address 44000 which provides the password for this meter. My meter's password is 0.

      MBMaster provides quite a bit of diagnostic information which you can ignore in this case. Just look for the data from the register.
