      If the meter is being provided a very small current (0.005A/5mA or less) on the secondary side, the meter will read 0 for the phase current.
      Since kW is dependent on the current reading this value will also be zero.

      To find out what the minimum Primary starting current is you can calculate as follows:
      Primary_Min_Current = 0.005 * CT_Ratio
      Where CT_Ratio = CT_Primary/CT_Secondary

      Example:
      CT Ratio = 2000:5 (Primary:Secondary)
      Starting Current = 0.005A (Secondary)

      CT_Ratio = 2000/5 = 400
      Primary_Min_Current > 0.005 * 400 = 2A (primary side load).

      How to change the display settings of energy units from MWh to kWh in ME Meter.

      Depending on the ME meter version, meter will automatically select the appropriate units and therefore it is not possible to modify the energy units. From 40/5 to 150/5 CT ratio, the energy unit display is KWh and from 200/5 to 6000/5 CT ratio, the energy unit display is MWh.

      CT Setting:
      To change the CT settings hold down the button on the Front Face of the ME Meter for more than 5 sec when on the CT Rating display. After approximately 5 sec the display will start blinking, now enter the CT setting. Once again hold the button till the display stop flashing, to ensure that the entry is saved.

      Register 300001 contains the analog input data (0-32,000).

      Registers 400001 and 400002 are the top integer nodes of an EMTH (Divide Integer by Floating point) which is divided by registers 400003 and 400004 (display 400003 as data type float), the middle node registers that contain the floating point constant (7.814408).  

      The floating point result is found in registers 400005 and 400006 that is then converted by the FTOI
      (Floating point TO Integer) Block to register 400007.

      The command to get Modsoft to change window size is ALT+<ENTER>; however Modsoft is not supported under WIN 2000.       Expression (3.120) instructs the WRITE_VAR to send the command out of XWAY address 3.120.
      A value of 100 is added to the Modbus address for defining the XWAY address to a Modbus device.
      The XWAY address must also be defined in the 'Connection Configuration' table of the Premium
      Ethernet module device port configuration.

      Expression 4.0.1 invokes the WRITE_VAR command to send the data out of
      'Module 4', 'Channel 0', 'Sender address Ad0=1' in the Premium PLC. For a Modicon
      device, the Sender address Ad0 is alsways equal to 1.

      Expression '%M',22,4 will write four bits to coil 000023 through coil 0000026 in the Quantum PLC. The
      reason for the offset is because Premium starts of with internal bit %M0 and the Quantum starts with
      coil 000001.

      Expression %MW920:1 is used for the starting word of the 'Transfer Table' with a length of 1 word. The
      bit structure is reversed for the transfer table. (i.e., word 920 is represented as 2#0000 0000 0000 1111
      in the PL7 animation table for the four bits written in the above instruction.

      Expression %MW925:4 is the starting word for the 'Management Word' table with a length of 4 words.

      How can you decode a Masterpact catalog number to determine construction?

      How can you decode a Masterpact NW or Masterpact NT catalog number to determine construction features such as ratings, accessories, trip unit, connectors, etc.?

      To decode a catalog number, access the attached file and find the description corresponding to each character for the breaker catalog number and for the cradle if applicable.

      PLS012 is for Masterpact Cradles.

      Note: For Masterpact breakers (eg. WA8AHR31A2SNNNNNNN9N) from late 1990s to very early 2000s, check attached 1999 decoder.
