        Issue:
What causes an internal fault on the ATV66 drives?

        Product Line:
        Altivar ATV66

        Environment:
        All

        Cause:
        The +15vdc and - 15vdc power supplies are below +/- 11.5vdc

        Resolution:
Before making any voltage checks make sure you have removed mains voltage from L1 L2 and L3 and install single phase voltage (mains power) into CL1 CL2 minus any jumpers.

        Check the +/- 15vdc supplies on J9 connector pins 3, 4 and 5
        Pin 4 is 0v
        Pin 3 is -15vdc
        Pin 4 is +15vdc

if any of these voltages are below +/- 11.5vdc you will get the internal fault code.

        Possible problems: can be
LEM's or CT's might be shorting out power supplies
        Shorted gate driver boards
        Shorted or inoperative power board

NMC Web interface reports "Someone is already logged in"

        Issue
When trying to access the web interface, a message is displayed saying "Someone is already logged in"

        Product Line
        • Web/SNMP Card - AP9606
Devices with an embedded Web/SNMP Card include (but are not limited to): Environmental Monitoring Unit 1 (AP9312TH)

        Environment
        All serial numbers

        Cause
Depending on the model NMC, there is a certain number of maximum sessions allowed.

        Resolution
With NMC1 devices, only one active sessions is supported at a time based on a hierarchy of priority (Serial --> Telnet --> Web). If the web interface displays a message stating someone is already "logged in", it can be cleared by either logging into an interface with a higher priority to end any web sessions that may be open, or to reboot the NMC. NMC2 devices support simultaneous sessions, however if the maximum concurrent user limit is met a reboot will also end active sessions.

Temperature Sensor not detected on an AP9631 that was pre-installed in a Symmetra

        Issue
An issue has been identified with AP9631's that come pre-installed in a single phase Symmetra unit - when connecting the temperature sensor to either UIO port, the NMC web UI will show either "Communication Loss", or will show a temperature sensor is connected, but not give any temperature reading:

        Product Line
        • Network Management Card 2 - AP9631

        Environment
AP9631 models that shipped preinstalled in a Symmetra - affected date range is 5A1641 and newer

        Cause
These NMC's have an issue that does not allow them to see exactly how many UIO ports they have, which causes this behavior. Other UIO accessories, such as the AP9610 dry contact accessory, will also not work. The NMC will function as expected in all other ways, this issue only affects the UIO ports.

        Resolution
This issue has been resolved in firmware with AOS v6.5.0+. Upgrading the firmware will immediately resolve the problem. The latest revision of firmware can be found on apc.com, or available via the Data Center Expert (DCE) catalog.
