Can I mix lighting units using incandescent lamps and lighting units using LED lamps on the XVP range of illuminated beacons
On the XVP range of illuminated beacons and tower lights, it is technically possible to mix lighting units using incandescent lamps and lighting units using LED lamps.
Such mixing is not recommended because the electronic components in the LED lamps may be heated by the incandescent lamps.
If this solution is chosen, it is vital to use incandescent and LED lamps that fit onto a BA 15d base fitting.
