          The recommended maximum ratings depend on how the drive is used. This is due to the fact that the rated current of the drive varies due to application requirements.

          For 60 HP Constant Torque Low Noise (CTLN) and 100 HP Variable Torque (VT) applications, the recommended maximum line fuses are Class J fast acting 200 amp fuses. Class T fuses are acceptable.

          For 60 HP Constant Torque Low Noise (CTLN) and 100 HP Variable Torque (VT) applications, the recommended Circuit Breaker is KAL36200 with a minimum enclosure volume of 12900 cubic inches.

          For 75 HP Constant Torque (CT) and 75 HP Variable Torque Low Noise (VTLN) applications, the recommended maximum line fuses are Class J fast acting 175 amp fuses. Class T fuses are acceptable.

          For 75 HP Constant Torque (CT) and 75 HP Variable Torque Low Noise (VTLN) applications, the recommended Circuit Breaker is KAL36175 with a minimum enclosure volume of 12900 cubic inches.

          The factory default for position scaling is 128 as the numerator and 10 and the denominator.  Parameters P1-44 and P1-45 respectively.
          These values are based on the encoder feedback resolution of 1280000 counts per revolution from the motor.

          With the factory default scaling a commanded move of 100000 will result in the motor shaft making one full revolution.

          The purpose of this Resolution is to inform users of 170ENT11002 Ethernet Communication Adapters of a condition where outputs could turn on briefly at powerup when mounted on specific digital output bases and combination digital input and output bases.

          Goals and Symptoms

          170ENT11002s with a DOM (date of manufacture) of 8-2004, mounted on digital DC output bases or combination digital IO bases, may turn on all or some of the outputs for approximately 250ms, when field power is applied simultaneously or prior to module power. The outputs affected during this initial power on cycle, turn off after approximately 250ms and return to normal control.

          Facts and Changes

          Units affected are:
          170ENT110002 with a DOM of 8-2004 through 11-2004 and a PV of 02

          This issue does not occur with:· 170ENT11002s with a DOM of 7-2004 or older
          · 170ENT11000s
          · 170ENT11001s

          Causes and Fixes

          The problem has been eliminated with 170ENT11002s with a PV of 03 or higher or a Date of Manufacture of 12-2004 or higher.


          • Contact your local Schneider Electric office for exchanges.

            For a temporary workaround of affected 170ENT11002 adapters, field power must be off when power is applied to the module. Once module power is applied, field power can then be applied.

          Resolution:
          Basic parameters are as follows:

          F807 - Com channel choice - 0 for RJ45 port, 1 for 4 pin terminal block.
          F829 - Network protocol,  Set to 3 for Apogee (1- Modbus, 2-Metasys, 4-Bacnet *5-Lonworks.  Note that an option card is necessary for Lonworks communication. All other options are built into the default control card of the drive)
          F890 - Network Address (1 to 99)
          F891 - Baud rate (0-9600, 1=4800, 2=9600, 3=19200, 4=76800, 5=57600, 6=76800)
          F892 - Network timeout  in 10ths. of a second.  set to 100 (10.0 seconds) default.  Range = 2 to 60 seconds.

          The above settings are for monitoring only.  If you wish to control via the Apogee network you must also make the following changes:
          CMOD = 2 (switches start/stop control to the network.  0 = logic inputs, 1 = HMI, 2 = Serial communication).
          FMOD = 4 (switches frequency reference to the network.  1 = VIA, 2 = VIB, 3 = Keypad, 4 = Serial communication, 5 = +/- speed via logic input.

          Cause

          If there are no other errors in the Windows Application or System Logs, the issue might simply be that Reporting Services is taking longer than the 30,000 milliseconds to start up, and the Service Controller is stopping the process.


          Resolution

          A simple registry key can be added to increase this timeout.

          Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.

          1) Open up regedit.exe and browse to HKLM\System\CurrentControllset\Control
          2) If it is not already there, create a new DWORD called ServicesPipeTimeout.
          3) Set the value (decimal) to something higher than 30,000 ms (i.e. 120,000 ).
          4) Restart the Server and see if the SQL Reporting Services service starts up.




          If the service does not start, the timeout might have to be further increased.
