      I want to filter or average the value of an Analog Input on my PLC. What options are available to do this in EcoStruxure Machine Expert?

      Resolution
      The best set of function blocks that can serve this role are the ones contained in the "Filtering Function" folder of the Toolbox Library.

      To add the Toolbox Library:
      1) Navigate to the Tools Tree window in EcoStruxure Machine Expert Logic Builder
      2) Expand the Application Node
      3) Doubleclick on the Library Manager Node. This will open the Libraries window
      4) Click on the Add library button in the top-left of the Libraries Tab window
      5) In the Add Library dialog, expand "Util", and select "Toolbox"
      6) Click OK



      There you will find Function Blocks like Filter_AnalogInput:


      and Filter_MovingAverage:
