It is not possible to reduce the cable length of each side, because of the design technical limit linked to the internal diabolo, & end springs technical data used to equilibrate the whole system. The XY2CED double-side E.stop rope pull switch is designed for long cable length with some minimum distance on a side, to avoid the non-operation of the switch (technical limit). The operation is valid by the equilibrium of two cables + end-springs applied with the switch.
