Feedback to PUSH Controls not working from NERO on Android devices?
Note: These recommendations or suggestions below are assuming you are familiar with programming PUSH Controls, have the Project Editor Software & have the original project file (.bwe).
I. Feedback Update is not received on Android Devices
Symptom: no feedback update (ie. light toggle button does not update) on Push app in Android devices. However, using the same project, user can get feedback update on Push app in Apple devices.On some Android devices, the feedback is not received. Therefore, we introduced a flag ‘AndroidFeedbackFix’ which can be found under ‘User Settings’ tab of the Nero script device. WARNING: by enabling the 'AndroidFeedbackFix', your Push app loses the ability for remote connection.
II. Feedback Update is not received on Android/Apple Devices
Symptom: Push app on Android/Apple devices are not receiving no feedback update (ie. light toggle button does not update)Please check if you are using a NEXUS-NERO gateway and its firmware is updated. The Nero module does not support gateway from another brand.
III. Turning off light using toggle button does not set it to 0% level
Symptom: Turning off a light using a toggle button does not set the light to 0% level.Check if your Nero dimmer is affected by this issue: https://support.environexus.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000550375-Resolving-dimmer-feedback-issues Also, make sure that you are using the latest Nero module: version 1.5 or later.
