The 2D/3D/4D in the product ID for an NSX100N unit explains how much detection on the poles is done for the unit.
- 2D mean detection is done on 2 poles of the unit
- 3D mean detection is done on 3 poles of the unit
- 4D mean detection is done on 4 poles of the unit
So for example:
3 Pole Units
- NSX100N 3P 3D is 3-pole frame (3P) with detection on all 3 poles (3D)
- NSX100N 3P 2D is 3-pole frame (3P) with detection on all 3 poles (3D)
4 Pole Units
- NSX100N 4P 3D is 3-pole frame (4P) with detection on 3 poles (3D)
- NSX100N 4P 4D is 3-pole frame (4P) with detection on all 4 poles (same threshold for phases and neutral)
