Issue:
Is it possible to use ATS42/22 with a category 4 circuit?

Cause:
N/A
Resolution:
We do not have any safety features implemented in ATS22/48, no any safety validated scheme, certificate etc.
However, one can use a typical category 4 safety scheme where the ATSxx is connected just before the motor:

Safety is based on safety elements (relays, contactors, safety PLC...) and the ATSxx operates like a motor.
ATSxx does store any energy (no capacitors) so safety contactors are doing safety cut-off the ATSxx+motor.
