The following error message appears during step 2 of the System Manager Software (SMS) 4.3 upgrade:
The PatchInstaller failed to complete successfully. Please re-run the install. Setup will now end.
The user is also running eSolutions software PRODUCTS such as Active Pager Module (APM) or Sequence of Events Recorder (SER).
eSolutions services for either Active Pager Module, Sequence of Events Recorder, or both are running.
Stop all eSolutions services via the eSolutions Service Controller and re-run the SMS install.
Note: The eSolutions Service Controller can be access by double-clicking on the red dragon icon in the Windows task bar.
