Yes. It is recommended if you are in a noisy environment or have a long run that you use RG-11 Cable. When this practice is used it is OK to user RG-6 as your Drop cable. RG-6 is less rigid and easier to work with in a cabinet and does not put as much stress on the RIO head or drop module. You can not mix RG-11 and RG-6 on a trunk line, use one or the other.
