Facts and Changes

Causes and Fixes

If you provide a descriptor for the constant number that is associated with the PCFL block type
(i.e., KPID), it will get displayed on the network.

To accomplish this,

  • Right click on the logic window and select 'Properties'

  • Click on the 'View 1' tab (this view is used because only View 1 properties apply to the printout.)
  • Select 'Descriptor1' as shown below.
  • Click 'Apply'
  • Click 'OK' to close the 'Properties' window.

  • Click on the top node of the block and the constant number will appear in the 'Documentation' winodw.

  • Type in the name of the block (i.e., AIN) for the first line of the descriptor.

  • Click on the Logic window to apply the changes and you will see the name of the PCFL function appear.
