    1) Desktop Client > Device Menu > Create Virtual Sensor.
    2) Select the type of operation you want to create, either Average or Total.
    3) Select the type of sensor you want the virtual sensor to be based off of.
    4) Select the device groups that contain the devices which have the sensor values. Click Next.
    5) Check the box next to the individual devices that contain the sensors. Click Next.
    6) Check the box next to the individual sensors. Click Next.
    7) Provide a Virtual Sensor Name.  Click Next.
NOTE: Although changing the name after the fact is possible, it is not recommended to change the name as the name change may not propagate through all views, including the web API.
    8) Choose the device group that the Virtual Device will be added to. Click Finish.

    Modifying/Deleting Virtual Sensors

    Removing Sensors from Virtual Sensor
    1) Right-click on the virtual sensor and select Edit.
    2) To delete a sensor from the virtual device, select the sensor and then click Remove Sensors.
NOTE: Multiple Sensors can be selected using the CTRL+Click or SHIFT+Click operations.

Adding Sensors to a Virtual Sensor
    1) To add additional sensors click on the Add Sensors... button.
    2) Select Device Group(s). Click Next.
    3) Select Device(s). Click Next.
    4) Select Sensors(s). Click Finish.
