How to set boundaries for IO device numbering in PowerSCADA Expert

Setting lower and upper limit for IO device IDs.

    Product Line
    PowerSCADA Expert 8.2, Update 2 (Hotfix 2)

PowerSCADA Studio > Topology > IO Devices (tab) > Number (column)

Once a new device is added to the system, it is automatically assigned a number (ID). In some cases it is necessary to set a boundary such that the new device starts from a specific number.

MinUnitNumber and MaxUnitNumber parameters control the minimum and maximum numbers (IDs) assigned to IO devices. These parameter are stored in ProjectInfo.xml file located in C:\ProgramData\Schneider Electric\PowerSCADA Expert\v8.2\User\ directory.

note: The above parameters were previously stored in UnitNumberRange.xml file.
