    PME 8.2: EWS client prompts an error: "Authentication has Failed" using PME's credentials

    Issue
    When attempting to connect to the EWS server hosted by PME 8.2 using PME's credentials, the EWS reference client prompts an error: "Authentication has Failed".

    EWS, EcoStruxure Web Services, 

    Resolution
    The EWS endpoint authentication in PME 8.2 has changed. The EWS server no longer uses the PME credentials for authentication but is rather defined in Web Applications.

    To setup EWS authetication, follow the steps below:

    1. Login into PME Web Applications by typing: http://localhost/web in a browser.
    2. Navigate to the settings tab and click on 'EcoStruxture Web Services'.
    3. Under 'Data Exchange Credentials', click on Change Credentials enter a username and password.
    4. Click 'Save' for changes to take effect.
