In order to configure the IP Address on your NetBotz Appliance, select one of the configuration options below:
    Configuration Option 1 - DHCP

    1) Power on the NetBotz Appliance and connect the appliance to your network.

    2) Log into your DHCP server to find the IP Address that the appliance received.

    3) Enter the IP Address into a web browser to ensure that you are able to access the appliance. You can log in and manage the appliance using the Advanced view application.  Instructions for download can be found in knowledge base FA230223.

    4) After the installation of Advanced View, open the Serial Configuration Utility which will be installed on your computer.

    5) Select Next and the application will scan the available serial ports.

    1) Connect the USB Cable between the NetBotz Appliance and your computer.

    2) Within Device Manager under "Ports (COM & LPT) will be a USB Serial Port, with a COM port listed after it.  This COM# will be used in the next steps.

    3) Open a serial terminal emulator, such as PuTTy or HyperTerminal.

    4) Connect using the following serial connection parameters:
    • Serial line: COM#  (Retrieved in step 3)
    • Speed (baud): 38400
