How is a run permissive function added to an ATV61/71?

    Issue:
How is a run permissive function added to an ATV61/71?

    Product Line:
    Altivar 61 71 ATV61 ATV71

    Environment:
    All models

    Cause:
The VFD needs to be disabled unless a condition is met.

    Resolution:
This function is typically done with a logic input assigned to freewheel stop:
    1. In the Drive Menu select menu 1.7 [Application Function]
    2. Scroll down and select [Stop Configuration]
    3. Scroll down and select [Freewheel Stop Assign] ->Set this parameter to your desired logical input
When the logic input is low, the VFD is in a disabled freewheel stop mode, whether in Local or Remote modes of operation.  Drive status is NST.
When the logic input is high, the VFD is permitted to run, but will require a run command to start.
