    A dialog box opens with the error "unexpected error has occurred" when clicking the "ADD" button in Web Reporter for adding a Report Subscription in ION Enterprise 6.0

    Cause

    1. The Print Spooler Service may not be running
    2. ION User is not part of Windows Administrators group
    3. ION User password may have been changed. If the database is not properly updated, the subscription will not work properly.

    Resolution

    1. The Print Spooler Service may not be running
      1. Determine whether the Print Spooler service is running.
      2. If Print Spooler service in not running, start the service.
      3. Add report subscription. If still unable to add a report subscription, go to Step 2. 
    2. ION User is not part of Windows Administrators group
      1. If the error happens when the Print Spooler service is running, add IONUser to Windows "Administrators" group.
      2. Add report subscription. If still unable to add a report subscription, go to Step 3.
    3. ION User password may have been changed.
      1. Update the IONUser password in SQL by following FA208369
      2. Add report subscription.
                  or
    1. Delete and re-create IONUser account with default password (IONisgreat!).
    2. Add IONUser account to Windows Administrators group.
    3. Add report subscription.
