MAX4 RCBOs - When you need MAX Performance
Clipsal have pioneered RCD and MCB technology since the 1970's. With space limited in the switchboard there has been an ongoing need to combine these two products into an RCBO. Clipsal have done this for both single and three phase applications.
Single Phase RCBOs
There are options in mechanical and electronic configuration to suit popular C-Curve requirements. Clipsal have extended the SLIM RCBO 6kA offer to provide for 10mA, 30mA, 110V and, 240V in 6kA breaking capacity. Traditional current ratings from 6A to 32A for are offered for SLIM RCBOs and up to 40A is offered in 36mm RCBOs. Topping this all off is the handy SI function which prevents immunity to nuisance tripping in high dependency installations.
Three phase RCBO
AS/NZS 3000:2018 (commonly known as Wiring Rules) brings in a major change for residential applications. It states that additional protection by RCDs with a maximum rated residual current of 30mA shall be provided for all final sub-circuits. This clause applies to three phase circuits for air conditioner, cooktops, hot water systems, pool pumps, etc. that were historically not protected by RCD.
With MAX4 range 3P+N RCBO you can offer RCBO solution for 3 phase applications and comply with the latest wiring rules.
