Getting Involved and Giving Back
Clipsal by Schneider Electric participates in a high level of community involvement and supports local and national companies, associations and events that benefit the wider community as a whole. Past and present participation includes:
Throughout 2014 and 2015, Club Clipsal supported Camp Quality’s Family Support Programmes through organising many fundraising events nation-wide. Camp Quality Family Support Programmes have been bringing laughter, happiness and support to children and their families living with cancer for over 30 years.
BurnSafe Schools Program
The Clipsal brand was a major sponsor of the BurnSafe Schools Programme and provided significant funds for research, via the Julian Burton Burns Trust and the Clipsal National Community Grants Programme.
E.J. Whitten Foundation
In 2012 and 2013, through Club Clipsal membership, we supported the great work of the E.J. Whitten Foundation, to create awareness of prostate cancer and raise funds for research into the disease.
In 2007, Clipsal by Schneider Electric managed to raise substantial donations through organising various Luli Week fundraising activities. Luli Week is an annual charity fundraiser held in June, with an aim to raise funds for underprivileged children.
Clipsal 500 Adelaide Annual Charities
Millions of dollars were spent in Adelaide during this four-day event and a major charity was chosen each year, such as the Royal Flying Doctors, Make a Wish Foundation, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International, and many others.
State Community Support
Aside from national support, each state holds various events throughout the year, which raises money for a wide range of charity groups, disaster relief and sporting teams.
Sydney 2000 Summer Olympic Games
Back in 1997, Clipsal signed one of Australia’s biggest sponsorship deals at the time; to be the official provider of Clipsal Electrical Accessories and C-Bus Building Control Systems throughout Sydney Olympic Park for the Sydney 2000 Summer Olympic Games.
