    These are our top of the line experience centres where you can go to touch and feel our full range of products. In both the State based Powerhouses and the SA Clipsal Showroom, you’ll find dedicated staff to help you plan your home electrical needs and answer all of your questions.     These Clipsal displays are also hosted within a dedicated area of an electrical wholesaler and showcase a range of our premium products. Clipspec Consultations are not available in the branch. Some branches are open on Saturday – please check before visiting.

Available in surface and unobtrusive flush mount models. Utilising photoelectric technology, the smoke alarms provide optimal detection and response time for all residential applications.

    An innovative, quick fit-off design allows for easy installation and maintenance every time. The robust modern design offers superior performance and increased resilience. Designed for easy retrofitting, all current models are compatible with older mounting bases.     05 Care and Maintenance

    Care Tips

    To ensure Smoke Alarms are always in good working order, the units need to be regularly checked. Pass on this critical information to end users and if they have any issues with smoke alarms have them contact a licensed electrician.

    Initial installation
    Ensure dust cover remains on the alarm until all cleaning is complete, then remove. Wipe ceiling around the smoke alarm with insect repellent, test smoke alarm
    Monthly
    Test the smoke alarm by pressing the test button. Test with the alarm powered and then with power removed (to check the battery condition)
    Bi-annually
    Vacuum alarm to clear of dust, wipe around alarm to remove any contamination, reapply bug repellent
    Yearly
    Replace batteries (not required for 755RLPSMA4 model)
    10 years
    Licensed electrician to replace smoke alarm (all smoke alarms have a 10 year service life)
