The smart way to retrofit a C-Bus system

How Wireless works
C-Bus Wireless is a Networked Control and Management System that provides an ideal solution for retrofitting Clipsal C-Bus technology into existing electrical installations. The C-Bus Wireless System uses air-born, Radio Frequency signals to communicate between units, therefore no data cable is required to enable C-Bus communication. C-Bus Wireless uses distributed intelligent control nodes and 128 bit encrypted two-way communications. C-Bus Wireless units work seamlessly with wired (twisted pair) C-Bus installations and support all current C-Bus key unit features and micro-functions.

Replace 240V switches with C-Bus Wireless Wall Plates

C-Bus Wireless Wall Plates allow existing, standard 240V wall switches to be replaced directly with a wall plate containing C-Bus Wireless technology. These are able to communicate with other C-Bus Wireless devices using Radio Frequency Wireless messaging and form a C-Bus Wireless Network. The wall plates are Two-wire devices (240V active and load), with no neutral connection required, enabling the wall plates to be installed without any changes to the existing mains wiring at a wall switch. Each switch can be programmed to function as an on/off switch, a dimmer or to issue a scene, as well as a number of other options.

Add appliances to the network with Wireless Plug Adaptors

C-Bus Wireless Plug Adaptors allow devices normally plugged into 240V General Purpose Outlets (for example, lounge or bedside lamps) to be controlled using C-Bus Wireless technology. C-Bus Wireless Plug Adaptors are able to communicate with other C-Bus Wireless devices (such as Wall Plates) using Radio Frequency Wireless messaging and form a C-Bus Wireless Network – no additions or alterations to existing wiring is required. C-Bus Wireless Plug Adaptors are available in Leading Edge Dimming and Trailing Edge Dimming Units, as well as a Relay output version.

C-Bus Wireless Gateway – Wireless meets hardwired automation

The C-Bus Wireless Gateway allows seamless communication between a wired C-Bus network and a C-Bus Wireless Network. The unit is powered from the Category Five wired C-Bus network via an RJ45 connection and can be desktop or wall mounted.

C-Bus Wireless Hand Held Remote – What every automation system needs
The C-Bus Wireless Remote allows access to a C-Bus Wireless network from a walk-around, hand-held unit. The remote features five programmable function buttons (plus a shift button, providing five more programmable functions), allowing C-Bus Wireless groups and scenes to be controlled via the remote. › The unit additionally features up/down, an all off button, an LCD display, blue LED backlighting, plus the ability to label each function button to suit individual requirements.

NEW C-BUS PRODUCTS:

C-Bus C-Touch Colour at your fingertips
The new C-Bus Colour Touch Screen is a wall mounted, touch sensitive 6.4-inch full colour LCD screen. At 640 x 480 pixels, it offers excellent colour depth and resolution and has been designed for easier recognition of functions and system navigation. It can display pages of text images, shapes, sliders and per cent indicators that have the ability to perform C-Bus related functions when activated. The unit also includes a real time clock for automatic scheduling of events based on the time of day, week, month or year. The touch screen also allows control via an Infra-red hand-held remote control unit. Available in Neo and Saturn Glass style surrounds.

Dynamic Labelling TechnologyTM - Scene labels you can change again & again
Since its inception, one of the biggest issues with using switches as part of an automation system is remembering what each switch controls. Clipsal’s new Dynamic Labelling Technology™ has been incorporated in C-Bus Saturn and Neo wall switches allowing C-Bus installers to electronically label switches according to the requirements of the user and easily change this labelling via software, as required. Dynamic Labelling Technology™ can also incorporate LCD text or bitmap labels, plus dynamic Graphic indicators such as bar graphs.

The units have eight programmable buttons for C-Bus group/scene control over two pages, with a scroll button to toggle between these pages.

Multi Room Audio – Wire every room for sound
You can now integrate multi room audio into a building or home automation installation. Comprising a Matrix Switcher, Audio Distributor and Audio Amplifier, C-Bus Multi Room Audio offers the occupants the benefits of stereo sound in any number of rooms. Music is piped from a central source, be it a radio, CD Player or MP3 Player, without the need to locate multiple devices. This can be controlled from anywhere from any C-Bus input device including touch screens. Two Audio Amplifiers, 25WMS and 10W RMS are available, both of which have volume, bass, treble and balance control.
